Hi Guys, With just a little over five months till your departure, we hope you're all getting excited about your upcoming trips to Italy! We are!
Today we just wanted to give you a bit of forewarning; All indications are that travel to Europe, and most especially Italy, is at an all time high this year! And of course our trips in early September are "prime-time" tourism dates because of the preferred weather... Not too hot, not too cold... Just right!
With that being said, any reservations or pre-arrangements you need to make for your trip should be finalized as soon as possible... Our research is showing that flights, hotels, car rentals and sight-seeing attractions are filling up & selling out far in advance as compared to normal years... which means choices & selections are getting slim and traditional "supply & demand" theory is driving up prices.
So if you haven't made all your arrangements by now, we suggest you get on it soon. We've recently made our own personal vacation plans for a few days in Lake Como after our September Tours and we could definitely see that prices were up and our preferred hotels were sold out already.
Another thing to start thinking about is whether or not you want to do any currency exchange before you leave for Italy... If so, you might want to start monitoring exchange rates to follow the common up & down trends to decide when to buy Euros... as well as start doing a little research on where you might find banks in your area that do foreign currency exchange. We'll soon post detailed articles on various options for currency exchange...
If you've put any of your travel arrangements off, we suggest you finalize them soon... It'll be here before you know it, and the longer you wait, the less options you'll have... As always, if we can help you in any way, please reach out to us! We're always happy to help!
